The Flinks tapes are great for motivational training as is the Tom Rose Competition Heeling tape. When the Flinks motivational Heeling tape comes out I'll get that also.
Patrica, adding the stand to the sit, down training is what eases the anticipation. If your just doing the sit and down, the dog knows what is next. Adding the stand command makes the dog learn to wait for a command and not anticipate. No corrections till the dog is Very sure of the commands. That's just a matter of time and lots of fun. I taught with just compulsion for years and now it's for correcting a known command. Training terriers has taught me to be patient and have fun.
