Our 7 mo. old pup barks when we take him to the dog run. As soon as he gets about 1/2 mile away from home he starts. Nothing seems to stop him from doing this. We are going to try a nylon muzzle to see if this helps. We are not sure if this is a good attempt at a solution or not.
He also barks incessantly while we are away and we put him in his crate. We have tried just putting him in when we are home and tell him "quiet" when he starts barking but this hasn't seemed to do the trick either.
Any suggestions?
Marianne
Using a muzzle to stop barking is a waste of money and time. Get a Tri Tronics No-bark collar. I sell them and use them. The barking problem is finished the first day you pout it on.
