My friend Lisa has a dog who is eating its feces. I think I remember on a link about a product you can put into their food to help them stop this habit. However I can't find the link , could someone direct me to it?
thanks sharon

2. Is the owner taking the dog out on-leash to poop and then redirecting away from the poop instantly? For example, redirecting could mean immediate obedience (marker) commands complete with fabulous rewards.
I once adopted a dog who already had a coprophagia habit, and a few weeks of doing the above turned her around so that the minute she pooped, she looked up at me eagerly, waiting for an ob command and the wonderful reward that she knew would come on compliance.
I have similar tactics and results as connie, but change a few weeks to "almost 18 months" to be trusted off leash on potty breaks. (My dog was extremely determined). Be consistent, and it does work.
