How bad of an odor is this? Are we talking ripe garbage, sweaty gym socks, or used sneaker? Just as human mouths always have a scent even with those who brush floss and lysterine so do dogs, even on a raw diet.
If we're talking rank smell, a trip the the vet is in order because a rotten mouth is a symptom of a health issue either of the mouth or throat. My first dog Sam developed horrid garbage breath. Turned out he had ruptured his esophagus and had a horrid cyst that had developed. The garbage smell was just that... decay.
