My dogs seem to be passing around a stomach bug of some kind and I'm not sure what to think.
It started with Nico a few days ago but I thought I needed to just add more bone to her diet, she had several times of drippy poop going down the hallway on the way to the backdoor and then some gross poo in the backyard.
Then last night Loki had a nasty nasty accident in our bedroom.
And just a while ago Yote had an accident in the bathroom.
Nico seems a bit lethargic but she is not a spring chicken. The other two seem fine. Im not sure what to think/do about all three of them having it though.
It will be interesting to hear the responses on this thread. My roommate's dogs seem to have contracted the same thing but I think they're mostly over it now. Hopefully Keiko won't pick it up.
and no teamwork dumpster diving, especially since two of them only have contact through a baby gate or crate door. Yote was also kenneled at the vet last weekend, but this started before that with the other two.
We are really careful about taking out the trash every evening and whenever there is something really tasty in it it goes straight to the outside bins.
No fever, it also started with Nico before the boarding at the vet....I am totally stumped.
Loki went to the lake with us labor day weekend, but he didnt get into anything nasty or otherwise, in fact he spent most of the weekend inside because he was scared of the horseflies
Nico hasnt been anywhere and Yote only goes on walks and is supervised in the yard all the time.
Are their food and water sources the same? I don't know about you folks in Oklahoma but here in my little neck of the woods in Massachusetts a few things happen in August/September which could contaminate their water supply and cause some issues. Towns spray for mosquitos, clean sewage pipes, and test the gas lines. And mother nature harvests umpteen mushrooms, some of them which are detrimental to a dog's health.
The only other thing I can come up with; is there a possibility their food has gone bad?
