My husband & I are stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany & looking for a trainer for our male boxer. Kodi is 6 yrs. and he's still as hyper as ever. Could use help, everytime we go for walks he goes soooo nutty w/any & every dog. Off the leash well that never goes well. We could really, really use some HELP!

Welcome to the board!
Off leash doesn't sound like a good idea at all.
By "nutty," do you mean aggressive or excitedly wanting to play?
What is his training like so far? How did/do you train basic obedience? Do you know marker training?
Is he recent to your home, or have you had him since puppyhood?
"nutty" meaning excitedly wanting to play. He thinks every dog wants to play with him, but he's so hyper the majority of big dogs tend to get annoyed. Well, even some little dogs too.
We've had Kodi since he was a puppy. He hasn't had "formal" training. Just what we read and stuff. Like he knows basic commands. Come, sit, stay, shake, bang bang... stuff like that. It's just it'd be nice to walk in the park w/o stressing if he's going to be yanking me around. Even though I walk with the lead pretty close to me and make sure he hears the heel command, it like goes right out the window. I just don't know what to do with him, he's so excited all the time. I mean my hubby will get home from work and Kodi is literally flipping a lid.
