I have been thinking about using a soft sided crate in my house for my 4 year old german shepard. She is already crate trained and likes the privacy. Looking for feedback from others people who have used these crates.
They are simple to use and work good to provide a "den" for your dog. But if you need a crate to guarantee containment or your dog is a chewer, I'd go with a plastic or wire crate
this varies from dog to dog and from situation to situation. a dog that does fine in a soft sided crate at home may be anxious and chew it at a dog show, in a vehicle or away from home.
I use them with my dogs when we camp and in the bedroom. None of my dogs are chewers though.
In the vehicles and at training or trials, I use an airline or aluminum crate.
Just as a place for her to lay down. She has full freedom in the house.I am trying to choose between the different brands. I plan on using it like a bed,no door
