A beagle is a bit bigger than some of the other litter trained dogs i've seen, but no reason why you couldn't. You would have to go back to housebreaking 101, and use something like a kiddie pool, baby bath, or large rubbermaid bin.
Or, install a dog door leading to a small secure kennel.
We decided to put him back in the crate during the day instead of leaving him alone in the laundry room. So far so good, he has had no accidents while we're at work. I'm thinking that now that he's a bit older he can hold it and understands he doesn't want to poop in his bed/crate. Thanks for all the help, I'll keep you guys posted. **Oh & hes getting LOTS of praises & treats when he goes outside **
