Thanks VanCamp... I will give that a try. Lucky for me I will not have to go away for 9 months again. Maybe sometimes a week but never more then that.
Can I still use the prong when we take walks? He does not seem to be afraid of his walking leash with the prong. and he rarley ever does anything wrong on a walk to get corrected. He knows keepup, slow, heel, left, right.
I am not a dog behaviorist but I think that your GSD is confused as to who is his master(pack leader), Your brother in law seems to have bonded with your GSD.
