We are giving the fish oil 3-4 times a week. The gas is not everyday, but we suspect it is happening more when he gets the salmon oil. We will have to be very attentive and try to find a correlation between the two. But is it possible to be the salmon oil?
Sure. But fish oil is too important to leave out permanently because of gas, IMO, so I'd probably do what you said about tracking the correlation, or just stopping it for a few days to see, and then, if that's it, I'd switch to deodorized fish oil.
Although it might be counterintuitive, after you track it, I'd also: give fish oil every day, starting at a lowered dose.
Michael is right: you will know immediately if you just quit the fish oil and see what happens.

You know ... sometimes a fart is just a fart. Just like a burp is just a burp. Gas is part of a normal digestive process and depending on how he eats he might be swallowing a lot of air... well it's gotta go somewhere.
Are we talking a little gas every now and again or alot of gas all the time on days that he's gassy? Is the smell pretty bad?
