I have a place I get chicken heads from. My dogs loves them. I've been feeding them as organ because I figured brain and eyes but a friend of mine says she doesn't think there's enough brain and eyes for it to count and she'd think it was rmb....so it got me wondering and I thought Id ask you all.
I have ordered the RMB books, but they aren't here yet.
I have an 11 wk old puppy and a freezer full of beef. Also old chicken and turkey.
Started feeding him meat 3 days ago.
Big improvement in temperament VS. Puppy Chow, big improvement in # of stools.
Can someone give me an idea how much to feed him? I'd say he weighs about 10 lbs, he's supposed to be about 20-25 at maturity, but he looks like he's going to be bigger than that to me.

Betty, you'll want to start your own thread with a new title. You don't want your "How Much to Feed?" thread tacked onto the "Amazing Chicken-Head Diet" thread.
Click on "new topic" (in blue - upper left) and put your own title in the new message box you will get.
Thanks!

When you do post the question, let us know how much bone and what kind of bone you're feeding. You probably know, but just in case, the meat-to-digestible-bone ratio is THE critical ratio in raw feeding. For puppies, it's several times more critical, because of the calcium they need to lay down skeletal mass and form teeth. And congratulations on switching from Purina to raw!
