Hello, I have a 13 yr old almost 14 springer spaniel, border collie x. Has slowed down a bit and harder of hearing...or perhaps selective hearing but other than that hes still in great shape and i would like to keep it that way. Are there any supplements that would be great for older dogs? Hes on raw food and milk thistle for his liver and the occasional joint supplement. He is starting to get a film, or glaze over his eyes as well, i do not know why, is this him going blind, b/c he seems fine. Thanks!
old age means realizing you will never own all the dogs you wanted to- unknown
Yes salmon oil, i have to get me some of that. I guess i put it off b/c its so expensive. Why is vitamin e good? What does it do, i've never heard that one before.

It protects the omega 3 fatty acids in the salmon oil from damage.
That's the rough answer, anyway.
Someone else will have to chime in if you want more detail.
