I just stuck some frozen ground meat in Dom's kong. I usually use it to feed part of his daily food portions... Sometimes a little cream cheese, pb, etc.
He worked at it for a good 10 minutes like a normal dog before he decided that he was frustrated. For the next 5 minutes, he started whining constantly while frantically licking/chewing/grunting/snorting.... Then finally got fed up and launched it at me from across the room with a paw. Now he's staring at me and back to the Kong, barking, like I'm supposed to bail him out.
......Apparently today we have learned "hissy fit".

The first few times Oscar got fed up enough to throw his Kong around the room, he realized that bouncing actually dislodged food that was stuck inside... now there are 2 phases to his Kong attack: the 'lick, lick, lick' phase, and the methodically 'pick up, drop, bounce' phase. That last bit makes for a noisy game, but at least he doesn't usually come to me for help!
