So Dolly will not eat THK anymore. I make the bulk order tomorrow and get it Feb. 20th. For the past few days she's been getting chicken backs and ground beef with her supplements. Today she didn't want her chicken backs. She just ate the ground beef. Hopefully she'll eat it later tonight.
Do you think she's bored with them? I was going to go to the store later today (I started school again this week so I've been busy) and get her some more variety. I was counting on the backs giving her organ meat until I get my bulk order though.
She has been on Cephalexin 120mg 2x a day for a week tomorrow, and Thyrosyn 0.2mg 2x a day for a week tomorrow as well. Do you think they could be messing around with her appetite?
On a side note, there's what looks like a long hair, tri-color Chihuahua or Chihuahua mix running around my work parking lot. I called the local SPCA to pick her up. I got so close to her but a car drove by and scared her off. She looks so sweet and very scared. We had some good rain last night and she is SOAKING wet. Poor thing. She's probably so cold and hungry. Strays are not common in this area. And it looks like she's been bred recently. I hope there isn't a litter somewhere. I've been going out there every once in a while to see if she's there. We're off a very busy street. I would have caught her and taken her in myself if I could. Reminds me of Michael and Tina. See? You've inspired me to go the extra mile!

I would just give her chicken backs and ground beef with supplements and she would eat it fine. If I mixed it with THK, she would take it out and eat only the backs. And she wouldn't eat the ground beef because it had too much THK on it! She's getting picky all of a sudden...
All I have on me now is string cheese, which might help if I find her. But I can go home at lunch and get some ground beef. Maybe even cooking it a little bit to bring out the odor. I haven't heard from the SPCA and I haven't seen her, but I keep checking. I hope we find her. She looks so scared.

She ate when I got home from work. I probably should have waited until it was her dinner time, but she acted like she was starving to death (you know how dogs do) so I just fed her the chicken backs she would have gotten this morning. I also went to the store and picked up some ground turkey and some fish for variety. I think Jenni's right, she's just not feeling right on the antibiotics.
