"After a while" seems to indicate something other than the food itself.
I would absolutely drop off a fecal for internal parasites/worms and then I'd experiment with smaller meals. Is he on two a day? I'd cut them both by a third and see what happens to the poops the next day. If they are significantly improved, then there are a few ways to bring the amount back up (if needed). Is his weight good?
I'd do all this before a switch to raw; it's so much better to know that a raw ingredient is causing a problem rather than a condition he already had with kibble.

He's on three meals per day now, his weight is OK (slightly to thin rather fatty), so as his mood and appearance. The vet also thinks he is in top condition, he advised me to add unprocessed bran (extra fiber) to his meals and see what happens but nothing changed...
