My lab sometimes goes through fits of sneezing. He'll sneeze almost for 20 or 30 minutes. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it's obviously very uncomfortable for him. I know it has to be due to some allergies, but I'm not sure what they could be. Is there any kind of vitamin or herbal remedy that I should give him to alleviate his sneezing? Thanks!

Have you had the vet determine it's from allergies? Sneezing in dogs can be caused by other things too - infection, or a foreign object up there (foxtails, etc). IMO, I would get his nose examined first before I assumed it is allergies, then if it is, you can deal with how to help him.
No, but I'll do that at his next check-up. This morning he went nuts sneezing because I'm dehydrating jerky. So I guess there's a lot of seasoning in the air. I gave him a Benadryl and that seemed to help. He stopped sneezing. He really doesn't do it too often and usually there's not something obvious around, like a dehydrator. So I feel like it must be allergies. I'll get him checked out more by the vet. Thanks!!!
