We have been using for 3 days now and I noticed that it kept slipping down and the leash connection would go under her neck. I rewatched the video on how to fit and removed a prong. On todays walk Lilly had a few moments when she started to cry out. She got a little wild when we passed to ladies walking by. So I can't figure out if it's to tight or if she is just got a little freaked out by the deeper correction?
I bought a med but have taken out 3 prongs now
Thanks for the help
It should be 1 link tighter than whatever allows it to slip down and rotate. It should not slip nor rotate.
Some dogs seem to be a weird in-between size. I tend to put them looser rather than tighter (looser = harder correction, tighter = quicker correction IIRC. Been a while since my dogs wore a prong...)

Personally I prefer one collar size smaller than most and adding links for a better fit. It helps with slipping and rotating as there are more contact points touching the neck, and you're able to get a better more even fit.
