Fairly short DVD, easy to watch. I've been around dogs all my life and have "socialized" and "trained" a few for various projects, but I still took away a few pointers from this DVD that have already helped me.

I'm new to marker training, never liked the idea of using a clicker. My 12 wk old pup has been half-interested in playing, until..... geez, so simple, withhold his breakfast and introduce new ideas early in the morning when he is most energetic. Several minute-long lessons while we're on our morning walk. Now I'm all he focuses on, every time we walk, regardless of time of day.

The tether.... FABULOUS.

Going straight to the crate when coming into the house, great idea.

My point, even if you think you know all you need to know, it's probably a good idea to continue reading and watching these DVDs, you never know what one little point will be made that will make all the difference in your training.

Now, what next? I'm thinking, playing tug, or using markers for training.... budget allows one at a time :-(
