I am currently using typical nylon flat belt buckle collar. My dog has allergies and I would prefer either a soft leather or the newer cotton or hemp material collars. Trouble with them is they only have the clip together buckle which I fear could come apart and I prefer the safety of a belt buckle which I could get in leather. Any thoughts on which is better around a dogs neck? Thanks anneh
Well, I have been leaving it on. I have it adjusted so that even pulled tight on the center ring, it is not "choking" the dog. It just doesn't come off over her head. I got a medium for the GSD in the picture. I'm using it as her ID, wear all the time collar and not as a training collar, per se. It is definitely comfy and soft.
