With all the snow melting around our complex piles and piles of uncleaned dog poo have taken over everything from the walkways to the field around our apartment. Though I've been taking off the complex for his daily workout I think once again my dog's caught a bug (I'm seriously going to start setting up a little pool of bleach you have have step in before going into out building)...he threw up 5 times last night...seems like it's over at this point....apart from clearly feeling icky he's bright and alert and everything else is normal.
However I was curious about his chosen location to vomit....I know, weird thing to wonder about but...
Each time before he threw up he poked me away with a paw (he was sleeping on my bed last night), jumped off the bed to puke in the corner farthest from the bed. After the first two pukings (which happened at the same time) I cleaned it up and put down some newspaper to absorb the water. The next time he got out he poked me awake again then went to the corner again. He started to heave on the floor but then stopped, moved to the newspaper and threw up there (which made me quite happy....cheap rugs are extremely difficult to clean and seem to absorb vomit)
Does this have anything to do with not soiling where he sleeps? Whatever it is I'd definatly like to encourage it...but I'm curious if that's the cause?
