Hi All...
Well I made the switch and Lilly loves THK..I add 1 vit E
Salmon oil and 1 chicken wing..maybe an egg..Also have tried turkey necks..She eats all of it!! It's awesome to watch!!
If you read my last post on the pooping issue..that is gone and the BM's are on schedule no problems! No vomiting up dinner, dry skin is also gone!! I feed 2 times a day as she is 7 months old..
We walk 3-5 miles a day..Is this to much???? Is this considered active??
Anyway..When she is done eating she wines..I'm not sure if she is just doing this because it is so good and wants more or if she eats to fast..Any input is helpful!
Hi Lynne,
Thanks for the post!
I am letting it sit for at least 10 min before she eats...
Thus far I have tried eggs, chicken wings, turkey necks
All at seperate times and so far so good...

How long were you on the THK before she starting crying at you?
Does the dog cry often? If my dobe did this i would assume he was just being his regular cry baby self, and probably just wants more food.
are the food pieces appropriate for her size? some dogs need the pieces cut up into manageable bits depending on the size and jaw strength of the dog.
is she possibly eating too much? dogs like people have varying metabolisms, and require varying amounts of food regardless of the size, so the box recommendations are just that, recommendations. you may need to add more or less depending.
I'm by no means a Canine nutritionist, I'm in the process of tweaking my dogs raw diet too, adding a little bit of yogurt with active cultures to their meal really helped to get healthy looking poo, so maybe it would allow your dog to digest her food more easily.
