I can't think of ANYTHING which has changed; we have not added anything new to his raw meals, haven't introduced any new treats, etc... He has probably had more chicken on a regular basis, still with other things mixed in, but the majority of the meals lately have been chicken. Other meats include turkey necks, pork neck bones (cutting back on these due to concern over tooth damage) and hamburger. Normal poops, normal activity, normal everything. Any ideas? I'm buring more candles than normal...

No chance he has found a dumpster-diving opportunity? You didn't introduce or increase a gassy vegetable like broccoli?

We found some chicken leg quarters on sale at a store we don't normally buy our meat from and I NEVER thought of that. No broccoli and NO chance of dumpster diving... rut roh... he has grabbed some chicken poo out of the compost pile a few times. (I can't believe the things we talk about on this site...)

Yes, it could be. Does it say "flavor enhanced" or "injected with .... " or anything like that? Chicken poop could do it, too. I forget exactly what it is in poop that can give gas, but I know I've read that in coprophagia info.

No list of "ingredients" just "Chicken Leg Quarters" period. Meant to answer it is not all day long, I think pretty much after meal time. He was fed at 5:00 this afternoon and things are "pretty ripe" as we speak. Do you EVER sleep or do you stay up all night reading these obscure publications regarding the flatulance ratio per ounce of chicken poo ingested by dogs?? LOL! Your wealth of knowledge never ceases to amaze me.

My dog is noticably more stinky on chicken days but not near as much now that a went from veggie/yogurt slop 3 days a week to daily. I don't know if any of it has to do with anything but Im enjoying the fresher air. I'll try to remember and keep notes so I can report back acurately if it had an effect.
