Gracie, my TFT, completed her beginner 1 obedience classes last Tuesday and earned her STAR Puppy title. It was a near thing because she was having trouble with the sits and downs but thanks to marker training she did both and earned the title.
We'll be spending the next couple months at least working to hone and improve the skills she learned before taking any more classes. She might enter a couple UKC shows (conformation) depending on my finances. I'm facing a probable vet trip to have 3 baby teeth removed, which just seem to be determined to stay put.*sigh*
I'm thinking our next goals should be the CGC and AKC CD titles. What do you all think?

Is Gracie a Toy Fox Terrier?
We have one on our street. He is so well trained .... this town has a leash law, but it's superfluous on that dog. He marches along the sidewalk in perfect heel position, tail going like a flag ....

Yes, Gracie is a Toy Fox terrier. My eventual goal is for her to get her UKC Grand Championship, AKC Championship (or atleast major pointed), CDs from both registries (I'd love to get an AKC CDX), and a Rally title. Her grandfather is going for an agility title at age 9 years.
