I have a cane corso and the body language is very similar. We dont let her get like that with the cats or bunnies let alone if we had a baby(God forbid). Not to mention she is a complete clutz, would definitely squish/knock over/scratch/back up into a kid. I get the gentle giant comment sometimes from people, and she is around us, but honestly kids freak her out and she doesnt appreciate all people petting her.

I had a guy let his maybe 2yr old(do they walk at 2?) run up to us when we had all our 3 dogs with us, kid was holding something too and waving it around and screeching too, ran a good distance from where they were to get to us, the guy saunters along laughing at how cute his kid is....I had to physically hold this brat back, 2 of my 3 dogs dont like kids.(maybe they feel my vibe..lol)

Im soo careful with my dogs to the point of being insane b/c the thought of anything happening to them would wreck me..So i truly dont understand how people dont feel that way about their own children....

old age means realizing you will never own all the dogs you wanted to- unknown
