Below are the rules and regulations of the Leerburg Web Board auctions. These rules will be updated when new rules are set forth, so please check back often!
The time and day the auction ends will be listed in the item description for each auction. The time that the auction ends will always be at 9:00 p.m. Central Time (AS IN THE SAME TIME AS WISCONSIN).
The winner of the auction will be the highest bidder, closest to 9:00 p.m., without being past 9:00 p.m. This means that bids right at 9:00 p.m. are valid; bids placed at 9:01 p.m. and after are not valid. Please be aware that due to flood protection, you may place a bid at a certain time. and it may not post at that exact minute. Your bid time will appear at the top of your post. For security reasons we cannot disable the flood protection on auctions, so keep in mind you are limited to one post per minute. Please note that auctions are based on "Leerburg computer time" not your computer time. So, please keep an eye on "Leerburg" time and adjust your computer time accordingly.
Please read the auction descriptions closely. We will be holding auctions that have minimum bids, reserves, and price increments for bidding. If there are minimum bids, reserves, or set price increments, it will be explained in each auction description.
Auction bids which were "Edited" at or after the posting time of 9:00 p.m. are not valid. Please note that these bids will be void.
Shipping and Handling costs for the item won are the responsibility of the winner. Shipping coupons may not be used unless you are purchasing additonal items which qualify for the special. (You may add your auction item to the box at no additional charge if your other items qualify for the special.)
If you have won multiple auctions, you may ship your items together to save on shipping costs.
When you win an auction, you will be contacted by PM about your win. This will include instructions on how to contact our office to set up payment and shipping. Sometimes, we are very busy and are unable to close an auction or contact you the same day the auction ends. We ask that you please be patient and we will contact you as soon as we can. If you have not heard from our office, and you need the item quickly, you may call our office to set up payment and shipping arrangements. Auction items do not qualify for shipping specials. We also reserve the right to offer the unpaid item to the runner up of the auction for the winning bid price. Once again, this action will be taken if the item is not paid for within one of the auction end date- and previous payment arrangements have not been made.
We appreciate payment and shipping arrangements being made within one week after we contact you about your win. If you have not contacted us within one week, we reserve the right to re-auction the item that you have won. If you are out of town, or you know that you are going to be out of town when the auction closes, please try to either send us a quick email or call our office and we can hold your item. We understand that you are all busy people, just like us.
There are no returns or exchanges for the items that you win on auction. The items are sold "as is".
