Help!! My dog has great drives when tracking, hits the corners well but when he finds the article he turns to his right as he downs so he can see me coming to him. Some things i have started, I am approaching to his left more but when I am 20 ft back he is down and turned by the time I get there.

Try telling him no, slide the article forward a bit saying "Such, platz" (or track, down) until he crawls forward and straightens himself and has the article between his front legs. Make sure you reward him when he's straight.
