About a year and a half ago I sold a family a Raya/Ronn pup with the idea that he would be the companion of their then 10 year old daughter. I kinda thought to myself, yeah, right, lets see how long that lasts but her parents were "dog" people and they were a good, good placement. The young lady also agreed to take ob, either somewhere else or with me.
Last week Danielle put her CGC on Comet at 11 years old.
She is well on track on putting the Protection Alert and possibly the Protection 1 on her dog this year. She posts her own dog and our training decoy cuts her no slack.
She does all the training with her dog and they are a sight for tired and sometimes jaded eyes. There is a bond between them that shows on the field.
I have no doubt that she is going to be on a podium one day and long before her 18th birthday.
Congrats again to Danielle and Comet! The next couple of years are going to be one heck of a ride watching you two!
Wonderful to hear. Lucky kid and lucky dog! (And by lucky, I mean Danielle is fortunate to be realizing her dreams and Comet, well, that needs no further explanation.)
Nice, every once in a while, we find a diamond, in the rough. And thanks to you Betty, had the courage to take a chance on this little girl, looking forward to see or hear of Danielle and Comet. Dan

I have an email into her parents asking for permission to post them on this board. They always say yes, but since she is so young I err on the side of caution........
