I have been trying to find out what the current regulations are in regards to the types of harness allowed in the schutzhund tracking trial. I was recently told that only the bottger harness was allowed but I am seeing that a breast harness is also allowed. If this is true, what type of breast harness is this exactly. any images and descritions would be much appreciated.
Thanks. Now does anyone have info on the specs of a chest harness / breast harness. I'm all paranoid as my dog does not like working with a line under his feet. I'd hate to get to a trial and get DQ'ed for incorrect equipment. I am tracking him in a y front harness with a ring on the back currently.
I tracked my dog in Schutzhund with the line connected to the back. Never had a problem. I don't know how anal the judges would be about how the line is connected.
