Well, I'm currently 22wks preggo and found out just yesterday that it's a boy! We'll have one of each and that's it I've had friends ask me if I'm sure... well if I wasn't sure I wouldn't consider tying my tubes afterward. "But what if a couple years down the road you do want another one?" My answer: I'll get another dog! lol
Also, we're going to be starting the Paleo diet. Just ordered a bunch of greass fed bison for hubby and I, kind of excited to see how it goes. Will keep everyone posted!
I had no idea what the Paleo diet was either, until my hubby told me about it. Caveman diet/Paleo diet same thing, not supposed to eat dairy or grains (unless it's whole grain bread, brown rice, etc.), about the same thing as a raw/natural diet for dogs, except we get to eat a whole lot of fruit and veg, not just a little.

Around here you have to be 40, have at least 4 kids or a condition making it hazardous to have kids to get them knot your tubes. Oh, I envy you in the land of the free...
Well, I am going to have trouble getting my tubes tied. I was told by the nurse prac. at my last appt, that I'll have to talk to my doc at length and then she'll have to talk to the priest at the hospital (it's a catholic based hospital) and the priest will have to be ok with it before they can even do it! I'm not Catholic, and I'll be 26 and both my husband and I have agreed that we don't want anymore kids. If they won't let me get it done, my hubby will be going in for the "V" and then I'll have to be on birth control (which I don't want to be on). I had wondered if I was going to have to wait til I was 30 before being able to have it done... well, I guess thanks to the catholic church not agreeing with humans altering themselves to not have kids, I might have to! ugh! The nurse said that I might have to wait until I'm healed from the C, all I thought was "What the F***!" You have to be kidding me. I'd much rather have it done while having a C, because I'm a stay at home mom, that's going to have 2 kids to take care of and a hubby that works 12hr shifts 4 on, 4 off (granted he does get sick and family leave, but he only gets so much of it paid for), I do not want to have to go back in and have a whole other procedure-would like to recover all at once!
On a lighter note...
Have been doing the Paleo diet for the last 3 days straight and have lost 4 lbs. I know, I'm preggo and I need to be careful losing weight. But the fact is, I'm not hungery, not starving myself, wating fruits and veg that I love, and eating healthy protiens (chicken, lean beef, etc.) and I have more energy! I like being able to get up and get going without feeling like crap and not wanting to do anything (after eating a bowl of cereal in the morn. vs. eating a protien packed breaky with fruit or veg with it). Love it! It's the way we were meant to eat. And thinking about it, my dogs are on a natural diet (HK's Preference and raw meats), so why the heck can't we be healthier and eat what man has been programmed to eat since the begining? lol
All grains are considered weeds and to the Paleo man were a starvation food and a last resort!
No wonder people have so many health problems, and the Paleo diet can actually cure a lot of diseases. Anything that ends in "itis" can be cured by eating the Paleo way.

Yes, "itis" mean "inflammation."
The Paleo diet, the anti-cancer diet, and many others are intended to be anti-inflammation diets. I think they all do have anti-inflammatory aspects to them. Sounds like you have found the right one, and are enthusiastic about it!
