I am trying to find people who are interested in forming club or helping each other with working dog training in the Ft. Walton, Destin, area.I have an American bulldog that is from Schutzund champ parents and shows alot of interest in things of that nature. I'd suggest that you have people reply to you via PM, or else the spam bots that roam forums for legitimate email addresses will spam you to death.

Also, why don't you list what you have to offer potential club members, that's always a good way to entice quality members ( for instance: a certified decoy, training jumps and equipment, coach with national's level experience - all that kind of information brings folks, so don't be shy about letting people know what kind of club you'll be forming ).

Dear will, I have no idea as to what kind of club. I have a dog that wants to do more than my limited knowledge is capable of. I have nothing much to offer except my time and desire to train my dog in some aspect of working class . I am at a loss as to which direction I should go or what my dog is capable of. My dog was a gift to replace my 4 yr. old AB I just lost . My wife got on internet and found this dog from good background. I can see she needs to be worked more than my limited knowledge. She is 7 mo. old and extremely smart and eager to please and learn. She 'outs' already when told. Does hang time, very obedient. Heel when we walk, does heel sit on command. She is very aware of who the boss is. Excellent jumper and has done bark and hold with me without training although I do not encourage this yet because that is beyond my scope at this point. I am kind of putting her on hold until I learn more or find someone in this area that can help me. I hate to spend a lot of money on training video's until I know which way to go. I have several acquaintences thru dog show that have working dogs, Schutzund, however they are in south and central Florida and are very busy training their own. But thanks for your input and if by chance you know anyone in this area please have them give me a holler. Jerry
