My old Mal "Buttercup" ( that I got out of Cindy's bitch, he was one cool dog! ) was a dark brindle and I was constantly asked if he was a young Dutchie.
Hey everybody, thanks for the welcomes. Yes that is my Dutchie Oz, my pride and joy!!! He is a great dog and we are starting him in Mondio Ring.
Rob- Oz came from someplace in Texas. I was going to train him and sell him Dual Purpose, but totally fell in love with his drives, obedience, and serious protection work. So I kept him for my personal dog. I'm not the one that usually locates the dogs we train and sell so not sure where from Texas. The breeder link you have there I believe is here in Utah though. I think your PD will love the Dutchie. I just sold a department their first K9, a Dutchie named Dizzy. Dizzy is competing in the K9 trials this weekend and I have high hopes for him since I did most of his training!!!!
Brandon, Oz is a very nice looking Dutchie!! You will have to post some video of him sometime!
Enjoy Mondio!! I would LOVE to get into it, but haven't had a dog choose it yet. The Mals prefer Agility and Rally, they just do their bite work on the side (it does make the little old ladies with foo foo poodles in agility class look twice when you do a restrained recall with an arm bite at the end)
