Hotter then heck, got a question, Erika has been swimming every morning at the beach and after wards I've been hosing her off with what the locals call fresh water, Can I continue this or do I need to use some soap sometime?
When I take my dogs to the beach....I usually hose them off when I get home to ge the salt off of them so they didn't get itchy. I never felt the need to 'bathe' them unless I felt the water was unusually dirty...like lots sea weed or foamy with junk floating in it etc. I never had any problems not using soap.
When vacations all done I'd use soap, super rinse and most importantly get her dry down to the skin so she doesn't get a hot spot, you know, a jungle rot kind of thing from moist wet hair.
I wish I was at the ocean......
