I need help! I have a 11 week old westie male. He does great with me on housetraining and only has minimal accidents. When he is with my husband 3 nights a week(Im in school) he freaks out. He pees in his crate, poops in his confined area and barks. If I leave him in the crate during the day and no one is home he is fine. I really need help because my husband is losing patience and I don't want to give up on him yet. Any advice would be great!!!

Give up on the dog or your husband? Believe me I know the feeling. My husband has issues with the space/time continuum. Time would pass and he didn't realize the dog needed out. He would be so focused on his work or reading, that she could be walking restlessly to and from the door and he wouldn't notice. It helped me to clearly get his attention before I left and say, "the dog HAS to go out at such and such a time. Set your alarm." I would also make sure that before I left all doggie business in the yard had been done, if possible... that way I knew about how long she could wait til she went out again.
I also threw BIG tantrums when there was an accident in the house (for my husband's benefit, not the dog!).
