OK just a quick question, I should have posted this earlier, but I am staying in the north side of the twin cities off of hwy I think 34 or 35. Is this a safe area? Or am I going to have to worry about my car being broken into? I have never spent a night out of wisconsin, I am sheltered, so thats why I am inquiring.
Mary, I am not familiar with the area you are exactly, but have "family through marriage" in parts of Minnessota and would say you are safe as a bug in a rug. Don't worry about what "could" happen! (What is the worst that could happen if your car DID get broken into? Would YOU be okay?)
Sorry for the late post, I just saw this before bed.
I am originally from the Twin Cities, lived there for most of my life.
I guess it depends on if you are in Northeast Mpls, or in North Mpls. While no place these days is completely safe, NE. Mpls, is probably a bit more safe than North Mpls.
But assuming you are close to 35W, it sounds to me you are in NE.
I would always lock your car,but it should be fairly safe.
I lived in NE for many years and never had my car broken into.
Hope this helps, and like Barbara said, just don't think about that too much.... you know, the power of suggestion!
Lol won't know till tomorrow morning lol. I am sure it will be fine. Someone at work said where I got the hotel was a bad area. I just wanted to double check because that person only visited and went off an ex boyfriends info. I have nothing in my car to steal I have everything taken out so we can fit the dog kennel lol. But thanks for the info I wasn't to worried hubby wanted me to check with people who probably are a bit more knowledgable then this individual.
