“Drift Therapy”- what an appropriate title. Kelly and Barbara, it is very apparent that your selfless, inspiring work goes far beyond the organizations you work for.

This post is about an amazing girl named Drift and the incredible imprint she has on the lives she touches. I so did not intend to make it about by me.

Reading this post brought on a flood of tears – being touched by the young lives and the wonderful memories of my fallen angel. Your words have helped me to realize that I have been avoiding situations in an attempt to keep these emotions at bay. The reality avoidance keeps me going but knowing that these intense emotions are lying just under the surface has me thinking that I may to need face these ghosts in order to truly be at peace with Edward’s passing.

Your insight is inspiring and definitely a nudge in the right direction. I will have a chat with Edward this evening (no – I’m not really that coo coo but I do talk to him at his gravesite).

Thank you Drift and two wonderful therapists. I think you’ve touched this life in a way that words are also difficult to explain.

I certainly don't think you are CooCoo for talking to Edward. I talk to my lost girls all the time. Sometimes talking with them is what keeps me sane.

The term "Drift Therapy" was actually coined by Rob Abel in a PM he sent me about Drift. She is a really amazing girl, and I feel honored to have her in my life. I thank you all for letting me talk about her
