Politicians can be swayed when they realize how many voters show up. Many people get their email addresses and send a letter about the benefits of these breeds even if they don't live in the area. It's surpising how many politicians are uninformed and willing to vote when they have no idea. Sending your own letter if your an owner of one of these breeds can help. I am SO glad to hear this news. Wish I'd seen this thread earlier, there have been proposed BSL's in parts of my county again and again. No place in America ever needs to experience the horrors of this ridiculous legislation like Denver and parts of Europe. Letters, phone calls, and emails only help folks. Please pour them in if this ever affects your community.
Even if it's not your cmmunity you can still send informational and your own personal letters about your own Pitty success tales. They need facts in these letters as well since most of these politicians are being told rumors and have little to no info on the breeds they are attempting to ban.
