I know, I know...it's summer, temps in the 90's and all that. But I was cropping some winter pics of Blesk, my take-home GSD (explosive detection for over 8 years) and thought the pic looked blurry. After cropping, it was steam rising from his ears.
Thought I'd share this with everyone in the "heat" of the summer!
On the plus side, he is scheduled for work at Ft McCoy Wisconsin where it will be a little cooler.

Kinda like that old film of Otis Sistrunk on monday night football (back when the Raiders won on monday nights) with the steam coming off his bald head.

Very cool.
Do you do shows and stuff all over the USA, or travel with your dog where needed?
Or, are you in the ARMY?
Dave: We are a K9 Service company (www.snifinc.com) and provide deployment, training, etc We have a Federal contract and a U.S. Army contract. We hired a handler for Ft. McCoy after several months of "commuting" from Kansas City. He lives in the area and has K9 training experience. That's working out great for both parties. We furnished him with 2 K9's and certified him to U.S. Army specs for detection.
I was in the Army from 1961 to 1968...but that was several lifetimes ago.
Maybe I'll see you folks up there during that concert weekend. I stay at the Super 8 in Sparta where they are used to seeing my K9.
