Loki has a new habit of waking me up to potty about 45 minutes before the alarm goes off because he needs to potty right that second.
He will whine and whine and nudge my face, if that doesn't work he will just paw my face which hurts!
He really does have to go because he shoots out the door like a rocket, But I don't understand why all off a sudden his long established schedule has changed.

Could he be drinking more due to the heat and all the fun at the lake?
Possibly, I don't know why I didn't think of that. Although I don't think he is really spending that much more time outside, especially at home. They have been out to potty then wanting right back in.
Maggie is doing the same thing all summer. I think the birds wake her up since it is light earlier and then she thinks of all the things she does first thing in the morning, like outside for potty, a little round of fetch with my husband, breakfast. She starts to whine and paw 'cause we're burning daylight...
