Hey guys. When I get my new pup it will either be flown over or ground service. The breeder told me she basically gives all the shots, I was wanting to just do parvo, distemper, and then rabies. I'm sure she would do this if i wanted to. But Since he will be flying, Should I go ahead and have her give all the shots. I deleted the email she sent me naming all the shot.
I will def do the distemper. I had a dog die when i was young from it. Was not a good deal. Those are basically the only common ones where i live. Along with rabies.

I guess what I was wanting to ask was. Do I need to get all the shots since he will be traveling and might experience different things while traveling. ..Coming from Pennsylvania...

I will dig a little deeper on this on she what airline she uses. It will be awhile before this happens...just getting an early start on what I want to do.
-I will find all of this out and get back to this post later on. Thanks ...I know the questions to ask. I just assumed that there would be other animals on the flight
I just have been through a lot with a dog that has some bad allergies. I believe it was caused by too many vaccines as a puppy.
I didn't know better at the time. If I had known, I would have followed this protocol to the letter. JMHO!
That said, airlines have some strict guidelines for animals aboard their flights. I am not sure what those are for a puppy though.
