I Google'd Buddy.
Actually, I Google'd "GSD, Buddy killed."
A friend sent an email to me in response to my email describing what I thought an ideal adopter for the foster I am working with would be.
The response had to do with an article about a foster dog named Buddy who had been killed.
So I Google'd "GSD, Buddy, killed" in search of the article, and I discovered that "Buddy" is an all too popular name for a GSD killed by... What? I mean, what do you call a person who tortures a dog to death, or a person who pulls a gun and shoots a dog?
I'm not a pansy but I wish I had not Google'd "Buddy."

There was a GSD named 'Buddy',last week here in CT, (adopted from a shelter 2 towns away from me),had been fostered & did well,no issues & then the family that had adopted the dog & had him for for 48 hours or so & the man claimed that the dog became vicious toward his GF & he shot the dog. I don't know if this is the one to which you are referring.
