Hey all, I got my new GSD puppy last weekend, and since then have been very busy. So I just now have a chance to write in. Ranger is great!!! He is already sitting before I let him out of the kennel, sitting before I let him out of the door and his house training has been near perfect. (of course I let him out after we play, eat or train). The only command I have really started to train is touch (using markers).. I will start sit and down next week. this week I am taking it easy with the training. Here is a link to my website if you want to see his some pictures of the little guy. Of course he is in his alligator phase, so I constantly have toys and food with me.. but hey all part of the fun!
John, Congrats on your new guy. Ranger is a cute little thing! It is great to start right off with the marker training! Have fun - this stage goes really, really fast (although some days are endless!). There is plenty of time for training!
I love puppy pictures! Thanks for posting John, and enjoy all the cute puppyhood now, as they grow so fast. Cute eventually turns into small monster and then larger monster...he heh heh
Ranger is one cute lookin boy!
