OMG, is that $1.49 a pound for backs? Yikes!
I would not be able to feed my dogs raw if I could not buy at the prices that I can get. I did it for 2 years with 1 dog before I found the wholesaler. But it would have totally killed me to feed 3 (now 2) dogs at the higher prices.
Man I don't know how you guys can aford to do it with those prices. I know your dogs are thanking you for your sacrifice to be able to do this for them.

Never bought those backs - that would be just silly We do buy chicken livers from WF, very beautiful, fresh, healthy-looking ones are worth it. And the lean young organic free-range birds for the puppy or when somebody is sick.

They do have the best (and cheapest) selection of yogurt, kefir and anything with live active cultures around here. They also started carrying Nancy's cultured sour cream recently!

I'll have to take a look at the dairy section the next time I am in there. I use an organic greek yougert that has 5 probiots, no sugar added for the dogs. The organic greek yougert is the only dairy that my female can tollerate. Maybe they will have something like that for less. I think it's $3 or $4. I can't remember since I get it with my groceries & never paid that much attention. Thanks, Ana.
