My son is into what he calls American Parkour aka free running; there are some philosophical differences but it all looks the same to me Interesting background; it has its roots in the military. And is trained as a means to navigate difficult terrain and also to get from point A to B by using your body to overcome obstacles.
My son saw a video of Malinois in China (I believed someone posted it on this site) and wants to train one to do synchronized moves with him. I have to agree with him if there is any breed who can do it; it would be the Malinois
Oh I'm nothing compared to these guys. But I'm far ahead of where most people my age are. I lost a lot of weight in 2005 after an appendectomy and a motorcycle accident that occurred within 2 months of each other and it's changed me a lot...a lot weaker, which would prevent me from doing a lot of the really long jumps seen in the video. But much more nimble (25 lbs lighter, I weigh about 130 now).
I don't really work out at all...I just keep fit(ish) by running up and down whatever stairs I can find, or find more challenging ways to do normal stuff. My friends hate walking with me!
Honestly a big reason I got Roger was because I don't know many humans who can move at my everyday pace.
I'll see if I can take some videos and host them somewhere. I'm not really tech-savvy, despite being just 29...
