Last week, when I went to the vet, I met this guy who is a dog handler for the paramilitary forces ( Army ). He looked at my dog and said that I could easily compete with the police/army dogs if I kept working with him for an other 6 months or so. I asked him if he could help me with knowing what is needed for the competitions. He came over today to help me out.
We did some exercises in real world situations to see where my dog and I stand.
There are lots of avenues for improvement, but I am proud of Kaiser for being able to operate in real world conditions. Even the paramilitary guy was impressed.
