I am looking at Flea and Tick medicine.. I have always used Advantix or Frontline but I found this:

Has anyone used this? I bought the spray and power and seems to be working pretty well, I was out in the Shenandoah mountains and did not see any fleas or ticks get on him. I even sprayed on my shoes and pants and did not get anything. (bottle says you can use it on yourself)

No I have never tried the above listed flea and tick treatments.
But they look interesting, and something I might like to try.
Dr Bob Goldstein is the brother of Dr Martin Goldstein also a DVM.
I think that they both have a very positive holistic approach to treating and caring for animals.
If you find this works for you, keep us updated on it, I would be interested in hearing how you like it.

Sure thing.. I am going camping this weekend so it will be its first true test.. I will be checking my pup at least 2 times per day.

Hey all I went to Shanendoah National Park Camping with my puppy for a few days. I am using the

Earth Animal Internal Powder
and
Bug Off Spray

And so far no Ticks or Fleas.. I have been using it in a high flea area. And The park was a high tick area. I do check him daily.

Will let you know if it continues to work in another few weeks.

I use frontline plus, I have acres of woods right on the otherside of my fenced yard, but when I know that my dogs are going to be out working or playing in areas that are far more tick or flea prone,like the woods or beach or high grass areas....I use a product that I get from Dr. Martin Goldstein's office. He us located about 15 min from my home in South Salem, NY & I used him as my vet for 4 years until his prices when thru the roof & I couldn't afford him anymore, unfortunately.

I get a product called: Quantum 100% Natural Herbal Coat Conditioning Spray. It is a 100% natural flea & tick repellent & it works great. I still take a run up to his office in the early spring & pick of a couple of bottles to have on hand. I mostly just spray their lower body,legs,tails & under neck areas, rub it into their coat & I have as yet to finds a tick on my dogs even when out in the deep grass or woods. I am sure that you can order it from them, as I know that they will ship out items to clients. I think that actual practice name is Smith Ridge Vetenary Clinic. I think that Cindy added him to her list of holistic vets that she compiled from forum members a number of years ago & I am sure is listed her somewhere.
