Has anyone ever had any experiences with using this product? If so, how did it turn out?
I read on the instructions that you are supposed to NOT USE UNDILUTED. So is that saying to mix the extract in a container of warm water or apple juice and then dosing with 1 drop per 5 pounds of bodyweight?
Or could I just add 1 drop per 5 pounds of bodyweight in his very big water bowl?
Any help much appreciated.
p.S. Toby is doing VERY much better. He is up to 90 pounds now! Looks in perfect health. Just seems to have a re-accuring yeast/infection on his neck area.
I used it years ago when my old Lab Mokie had constant ear infections. Seemed to work. I doubled the dose for the first week (2 drops per 5 lbs) and I put it in a small amount (about a cup) of chicken broth. After the first week I went down to the standard dose, still using chicken broth.
If the dog is supposed to get this more than once a day, I would not use the water bowl, as you would not be able to gauge just how much the dog is actually getting. With a smaller amount of liquid you know for sure that the entire dose was ingested.
Also, the stuff doesn't smell all that great, so I think something like broth would mask the taste a bit better than water would.
