I recently had a litter of 10 puppies, I have 3 female left, and would like to keep one. They are all 3 awesome girls. Are showing great signs to be good sport dogs or work in personal protection. My question is what are signs of a perfect canidate for a personal pretection dog. They are 11 weeks old. They are czech and slovak and old DDR bloodlines. I am having trouble deciding which one to keep, and one of them might be sold this week end. I would appreciate any bodys comments that have had experience in picking out puppys from their litters. I think it's the video 'Bite Training Puppies' where Ed goes through all of the steps he uses. What I can remember offhand is good signs of engagement with you, with the other puppies and by herself as well, showing good ball drive and a willingness to return the ball to you, a decent pain tolerance when you squeeze between the toes and a willingness to forgive you after this test is done, meaning she will return to you.
