Don't forget that all the yummy foods loaded with cooked fats that we enjoy today are the reason for the so-called holiday pancreatitis that abounds every year! We may want to make sure the trash gets outside into a barrel right after dinner -- trash-diving hasn't happened here yet, but this could be the kind of day to drive a dog over the edge!

That's why in this house special holiday Kongs are being prepared for everybody: same ingredients minus those that are not known to be good for dogs, cooked together with human food, where possible or prepared separately. There will be fresh and frozen Kongs and a bunch of treats frozen in Ziplock containers and ready to go for later Happy Thanksgiving!
