"Please don't shut down because you didn't hear what you wanted to hear... the health and lives of your dogs is at risk. Stick around, keep an open mind and see if there isn't something you can do differently the next time around to prevent this from happening again. Aren't you ALWAYS going to be dealing with "hormonal" issues when breeding dogs?

I so second everyone's advice, and I would also encourage you to stick around.
EVERYONE makes mistakes - it's what you do after the mistake that counts, you either learn from it, move on and use that newly found information to grow (yourself, your breeding program) or you run from it/make excuses for it and risk it happening again.
Remember, everyone here has the dogs best interest at heart. This board is one of the few places that you can get the best advice for your dogs that is based on great life experience with the best breeder/veterinary/nutritionist knowledge out there!
