When I get my wide angle camera lense, I'll show you some butt muscles. And I'll warn you to stand back.
OMG…how did this go from Al’s leaving routine video to butt shots. Now that’s just WRONG… am I in the right thread?
Well, speaking of wrong, Vince says you all have it wrong… I had him sit through that video with me to get his perspective on what’s going on there (when in doubt, ask the experts).
And he told me that guy has treats in that bag and he just sent him out to lay some foot step tracks. He said that dog is really familiar with that eleven command routine: No, Sit… Down, Sit… Down, That’s Enough, Sit… Down, Sit… Down, No – it’s the way they always start their training sessions. Kind of like we use the word “Ready….” And that muzzle’s just for show, the guys been showing some fear issues lately and it calms him down a bit. More calm, timely rewards with it on.
And that little toss to the side and the allemande left were just part of a dance routine they’re working on. Vince said the dog knows the routine better than he does but he just can’t understand why he won’t let him lead. Says it shouldn’t be much longer, he's working on the issue.
He’s also let the guy’s alacrity (getting out of the house) slack for a long time now so he’s just amping it up a little to get some of that speed back.
And yeah… I feel sorry for the guy too. Some folks are just a little more independent and take a bit little longer catching on. I think the pup’s on the right track though, the young man’s coming along fine.
